Hello, pleasure to meet you all. I signed up to this because as a pharmacist I am horrified by the cocktails of drugs (often ineffective and unsafe) that I see people prescribed for these conditions. I am also a self-care lead for my organisation and believe that we can support people with much more effective non-pharmaceutical options. Most importantly though, I lost my aunt earlier this year who suffered greatly from mental illness and chronic pain. I tried to support her as best as I could but it would be a worthwhile legacy if anything can be learned that mean other people do not have to live the life she did.
