To develop a training program addressing constipation issues for Children, Young people and families delivered by GPs, paediatricians and play specialists with extra support for CYP with disabilities
This sounds like a great opportunity to spread the word and address the challenge of dealing with a problem that is all too common in children and young people with disabilities. The impact of constipation on sleep, behaviour, seizure activity, social interaction and education for the child/young person can be overwhelming, and finding ways to support families and carers dealing with the problem has to be a positive step.
ERIC is a fantastic resource for parents, but it would be so good if this knowledge was brought in to main stream Primary Care, and Health Visitors had some of the knowledge.

What an absolutely fantastic idea.
