There are 3 things we can be certain of in healthcare and we would like to close the gap on:

1. We know there is on average, a 17 year gap between new evidence of best practice and the adoption of this in healthcare.
2. There is plenty of information out there on how to adopt, spread and sustain best 3. practice and yet there remains a gap between knowing and doing.
3. We are time poor in the NHS, our working lives are hijacked by urgency and yet our desire and common sense tells us how important adoption, spread and sustainability is.

Put simply, our SIG is focused on closing these gaps.

Our initial focus will be on designing an accessible and practical resource (digital playbook) in co-creation with like minded people. Individually, we don’t have all the answers and solutions, but collectively we do.

This SIG is for you if:

1. You are a doer/improver and need help with further adoption of your work/project- we need you to be our beta testers
2. You have experience in adoption, spread and sustainability in the healthcare system and can be a critical friend
3. Are just as passionate about this topic as we are and have time to engage with us to support the co-creation of the resource and with whatever else emerges
