Passionate about delivering high quality and safe care, my career to date shows this commitment to quality and safety. In a new role as Head of Quality with a charity who are committed to providing personalised support that enables individuals to lead valued and meaningful lives in the community.

I spent 15+ years as a practitioner psychologist (forensic), designing, delivering and improving treatment programmes for offenders in custody or detained in secure mental health settings. I joined the independent health and social care regulator, Care Quality Commission in 2012, working in inspection, then as part of the policy and strategy team designing new inspection methodology, and finally as an inspection manager and enforcement lead, leading a team of inspectors and supporting improvement in adult social care services.
