I lead the Improvement & Implementation team in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board; a large integrated Health Board with responsibility for planning and providing primary, community, mental health and hospital services in South Wales. Having initially qualified and worked as a physiotherapist, I have managed major service improvement projects across a wide range of service areas, both within health and across the wider partnerships. I have an MSc in Leadership for Health Service Improvement from the University of Birmingham and I'm trained in a wide range of service improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints and Results Based Accountability. As well as being a founding cohort participant of Q; I am also a member of the Improving Quality Together Gold Network and All Wales Continuous Improvement Community.
