LJ is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at King's College Hospital, South London. She has clinical interests in breathlessness, lung cancer and airways disease. She is driven by a desire to bring health equity and social justice to her own practice and the broader NHS. She also works to mitigate the worst effects of the Climate Crisis, and has leadership roles in Sustainable Healthcare at King's College Hospital and at the British Thoracic Society. She brings a creative QI mindset to her work, applying knowledge and skills gained from completed the FMLM Tomorrow's Strategic Leader programme, and the Flow Coaching Academy. She campaigns for a more equitable world with MedAct and writes on issues ranging from air pollution to mental health, to the harms of migrant charging in the NHS in peer reviewed publications, traditional media and on her own blog.
