Dr Jon Rey-Hastie lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is the CEO of Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance, a user led organisation of adults with muscle weakening conditions. Jon also works as a freelance disability consultant and copywriter on disability-specific copy.

Jon has previously sat on the NHS Strategic Coproduction Group for Personalised Care and the Network Rail Built Environment Accessibility Panel, and has experience of working and using lived experience at a strategic level.

Jon is highly experienced in user engagement, user-leadership and coproduction, and uses a range of innovative approaches to organisational management which empowers disabled people in an inclusive work and volunteering environment.

Jon lives with his husband Tomas and two cats in their own flat in Reading, and enjoys cocktails and baking (often at the same time).
