Gemma Moore is the lead for Qualitative Research and Evaluation on the Evidence for Improvement Programme, National Quality Improvement Team, Health Service Executive. Gemma champions the use of qualitative methods (such as interviews, focus groups and observation) to capture and understand the experiences, narratives and ideas of those involved in designing, implementing and evaluating QI initiatives to ascertain whether and how quality of care has improved.

Gemma is a social scientist with a PhD in Sociology and a Masters of Social Science (specialising in the Sociology of Health) from University College Dublin and a joint honours BA in Economics and Sociology from Trinity College Dublin.
