For over 25 years I have enjoyed making a positive impact, working and volunteering in the voluntary and community sector mainly within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
I have experience of working in a variety of roles, ensuring a diverse range of communities and organisations achieve their goals.
My current roles focus on supporting, advising, developing and enabling a wide range of individuals, groups and organisations across North Yorkshire to address the issues they face and create the services that are needed.
As a Support and Development Specialist I currently work with over 70 organisations as a mentor and coach building confidence and providing reassurance. At the same time I provide a range of practical support including addressing governance and staffing issues, funding advice, completing funding applications, developing strategic plans, creating research and impact measuring tools, assisting with structural documents, policies and procedures, and assisting with staff recruitment and training.
