I am passionate about Volunteering and Co-production and found that both can relate to each other. I work with services across Making Space in developing opportunities for volunteers. This can be both people we support to volunteer but also members of the general public. We are also linking in with businesses to develop opportunities for employees to do short term volunteering projects.

Volunteering can add value to the amazing work that employees do. Volunteers can focus on particular projects and can spend extra time with individuals we support and patients. Whether that is a volunteer making tea at a dementia cafe, running an activity to sharing information in a newsletter about how people can look after their health better.
