Biography

I am a Consultant Physician in Respiratory Medicine at UHDB. I am currently a Deputy Medical Director for Quality and Safety at my trust. I have held a number clinical, educational and managerial roles. Specific skills are in clinical leadership and healthcare innovation. I have a particular interest in supporting trainees through their quality improvement projects and mentor development for QI. I have led four quality improvement programmes in sepsis, medical handover, acute medicine and ambulatory care. I have an interest in Medical Education and I have held the role of Core Medical Training Director.
