      Sorry folks, I’ve been making so many typos these days that I’m thinking about going to the doctor about it 😬 I don’t know what’s up.

    • I thought the little exercise with the square of paper was really good. Rather like Deming’s Red Bead experiment it demonstrated the problems with a poorly designed process. It also demonstrated that ‘Output’ measures are ‘shutting the door after the horse has bolted’. In order the identify error early enough the ‘in process’ measures are required. Juran calls this ‘Quality Control’. You may well be asking ‘process design and quality control – what’s that?
