Hi Jo!
There have been so many great sessions this week! I have been fortunate to work with a few AHP teams who have presented!
– At lunch time tomorrow (26th April) you can still join Laura and Krithea presenting their SusQI project on reducing single use items in hospitals – https://networks.sustainablehealthcare.org.uk/resources/reducing-co2e-waste-through-implementing-remanufactured-harmonic-scalpels-laparoscopic
There will be recordings available of two SusQI projects presented earlier in the week
– Improving patient outcomes while reducing waste by the hand therapy team at Northampton https://networks.sustainablehealthcare.org.uk/resources/hand-therapy-pre-operative-appointment-plastic-hand-trauma-patients
– The environmental impact of physiotherapy in specialist limb reconstruction by Catherine Borra https://networks.sustainablehealthcare.org.uk/resources/specialist-physiotherapy-following-limb-reconstruction
I also presented a session on sustainability in QI (SusQI) on Tuesday which has been recorded for anyone who may be interested in learning what SusQI is, why we need it and to hear a speech therapy case study example.
Best wishes,
Rachel (Centre for Sustainable Healthcare)
Thanks for sharing Rachel- it has been a busy week! Will the recordings be put on the Sustainable healthcare website?
