We just finished a great (full) workshop, with designers, change people, and digital people! And here’s the shout for the next one!

This is a workshop for anyone working with service design, digital or change, and are wishing to deepen their understanding and practice of systemic change that reflects what organisations are striving for with today’s complex challenges. 

We might know about redesigning the service front end, especially how to develop digital solutions. However, these methods do not work well for services that are more complex, and where engagement rather than imposing is key.

Simply applying the familiar change approaches we already know to these complex services, usually results in partial success only. 

A particularly helpful practice is to begin to understand how systems thinking and complexity methods merge into systemic design. Changing the whole service, co-designing with staff and customers, engaging with managers. 

This is especially true in the public sector where designers and change professionals are increasingly coming up against more interrelated people issues, and multiple stakeholders. 

This is a three day workshop (half days) that delves into real case studies and practice. Where we will learn new approaches and methods to deal with complexity and systemic design for services.
