    Curious about (co-)facilitating Liberating Structures?

On Thursday Jan 11th 12-1pm the LS user group community will get together to plan and co-design a programme of sessions for spring/summer 2024.

We are looking for people who’d like to step up as facilitators, and work with another facilitator, to offer the community an engaging & fun LS session.

No previous facilitation experience, nor experience LS, is required. Just a willingness to try something new. The sessions are peer practice spaces and everyone’s welcome!

Hope to see some of you there. Register here to receive the Zoom link: https://q.health.org.uk/event/liberating-structures-user-group-planning-session-first-half-of-2024/

And do reach out if you have any questions. If you’re new to Liberating Structures you can read more about them here: https://www.liberatingstructures.com/

    • Having experienced practicing LS with colleagues, highly recommend giving it a go. The group are so friendly and its such a safe space to try something new, and Joriam, Maria and Matthew are so helpful if you need a wee bit extra support to run the session (so grateful to Joriam for his support in helping us facilitate social network webbing!!,) and now its something I feel so comfortable to do now in work and share as a tool others may be interested in.

      For info
Social Network Webbing quickly illuminates for a whole group what resources are hidden within their existing network of relationships and what steps to take for tapping those resources.
It also makes it easy to identify opportunities for building stronger connections as well as new ones.
The inclusive approach makes the network visible and understandable to everybody in the group simultaneously. It encourages individuals to take the initiative for building a stronger network rather than receiving directions through top-down assignments.
Informal or loose connections—even your friends’ friends—are tapped in a way that can have a powerful influence on progress without detailed planning and big investments.

Liberating structures are an amazing set of resources I am so glad I have been introduced to, and the LS User group really is an amazing space to learn more and practice, everyone is so kind and willing to help each other learn

    • Its excellent Maria, as someone shared, when we gave it a go at the LS user group ‘I have made more connections and identified people who share something in common in 10min than sometimes I can do in months’ (or something similar) its a really good way to building connections. wonder maybe use it at a future SIG convenors session as a way to find common interests, memberships, ideas etc? 🙂
