    Dear Liberating Structures group,

I was hoping to ask for some advice! I work at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Dietitian by background and currently working in QI. I am about to embark on a role as the lead Allied Health Professional (AHP) role for redeveloping the Paediatric critical care L1 and 2 (HDU) – specifically I will be focussing on AHP workforce requirements. I am job-sharing with a physio also . Specifically, we were planning to start our stakeholder engagement work with listening events for each of the AHP groups (physio, OT, Speech Therapy, Dietitians, Music Therapy etc) but also some groups which fall outside AHPs (pharmacy, psychology…). It would be great to use a liberating structure for these sessions. Main challenge being that they will be very different size groups!

If anyone has any recommendations or advice, I would love to connect. Please do reach out: catherine.kidd@gosh.nhs.uk

    Thanks so much, Catherine

    • Hi Catherine

I note Sophia has responded and is an amazing colleague to connect with. If having more than one conversation maybe helpful, I have used variety of LS and network weaving tools with different groups e.g. recently with a peer support mental health group we used 1-2-4-all then design story boards, Feedback was really positive about helping the group determine what mattered to them, their hopes for the future and what and who they needed to make them manifest and what needed to change going forwards.

Also have a session planned later this week with a range of health professionals exploring ideas for improvements around chronic pain management pathways, we will be using a variety of tools including social network webbing.

The range and application of LS is amazing and can be adapted to be used in so many situations.

      Kind regards
      Hilda
