New SIG event alert!

The Philosophy and Ethics for Heath Care SIG will be hosting their first event on Wednesday May 31st @12-1pm.

The SIG is bringing some interesting, fundamental questions to the table. And I can understand this group has grabbled with similar questions in the past in your studies and discussions of ‘Does quality improvement improve quality’ by Dixon-Woods and Martin. So this is probably of interest?

Join The Philosophy and Ethics for Heath Care SIG for a philosophical discussion on the essence of quality. Is ‘good quality health care’ any different from ‘good health care’? Are our ideas about quality helping or hindering our efforts to improve health services? Is ‘quality’ what we should be focusing on?
