I’ve been doing some work with OD colleagues on the topic of organisational trauma (trauma that occurs at the level of the whole system) and together we have written a white paper on the subject – it offers a definition of organisational trauma, explores how it manifests, and also provides an original practice framework and guidance for coaches, leaders and practitioners who find themselves working in systems impacted by trauma so as they can move forward adaptively, with care and sensitivity, and an eye to both the needs of individuals and teams, and the wider system as a whole.
