    Hi,
Out of interest has there been any focus on developing short video tutorials on tools, or QI more generally to support learning in people’s own time – Rather than specifically facilitator-led Virtual tutorials?

    • Hi. We have looked at training (not just QI, generally); for us the limiting factor is getting enough technical support to make good quality videos in the volume we want them to, and our technical colleagues have a lot else to do!

      • Hi Iona, hope you are well. Inknow it was a while back but I wondered whether I could share some of the resources which we developed with you to get your thoughts? Can do via email if easier

    • We have put together some short tutorial videos on different aspects of QI (tools, measurement, complex systems, reliability) for our Paediatric Diabetes QI Collaborative. There are some resource factors to consider but it is possible. I can make these available if you would like to take a look?

    • I’ve just finished building a Lean programme which comprises two massive-open-online-courses using video tutorials and asynchronous facilitation. All the details here if interested https://www.england.nhs.uk/sustainableimprovement/lean-online/
Also have similar format courses on Improvement Fundamentals (basic QI skills) and Leading Large Scale Change on the same platform at https://www.qilearning.england.nhs.uk/

    • The feedback we’ve had on the Lean Fundamentals MOOC has been really positive. Somebody went as far as to say “it’s one of the best courses I have attended in terms of delivery and design”. You could check out our ‘MOOC School’ where we teach people to develop online course using the same approach we use to create all of our MOOCs.

      • Hi Iain, I had tried to attend the MOOC bit I think I had missed the sign up. I will attempt to do the next one. I was wondering whether you would be happy to have a look at some of the resources we have developed so far given your experience and share your thoughts? Can share via email if helpful
