Hello, I’m hoping to do some work with the Health Foundation to reinvigorate the primary care special interest group, and more broadly, develop some resources to better support QI in primary care. I was wondering whether anyone from the existing group would be keen to be involved. We feel the first step would be to meet and identify what the gaps are, what is needed, and make a plan about how we can address these needs. Do get in touch with me within the next couple of weeks if you would like to be involved, and I will then circulate a doodle poll to arrange our first meet. Best wishes, Rammya
Hi Rammya I would be interested. Ruth
Hi Rammya, I would be interested. Best wishes, Jo
Hi Rammya
I’d be happy to help if I can.
Joanna
Hi I would also be interested. BW Sameena
I’m interested
Hi Rammya, I’m interested, thanks.
Hi Rammya
I’m definitely interested in this. I think @sallyoldbury will be too. You can contact me directly on lisa.jamieson@myhealthhuddersfield.co.uk
Many thanks
Lisa
Thank you to everyone who has responded to this. Glad there are quite a few of us who are keen to build the primary care offer. I will touch base with Bryan Jones (Improvement Fellow at HF) to try and secure some potential meeting space + look into whether we can set up teleconferencing for those who may not be able to make it in person. @rankine @camillegajria @johurd @anne-marie-eliades @sameenahassan – would you be able to share your email addresses with me, so I can send you a link to a doodle poll to set a meeting date. @joannabircher and @lisajamieson – I already have yours, thank you. You can post on here or email me if you prefer – rammya.mathew@nhs.net.
BW, Rammya
Hi All, Here are the doodle poll details for everyone who expressed an interest in meeting to help shape Q primary care. @rankine @camillegajria @johurd @anne-marie-eliades @sameenahassan @joannabircher @lisajamieson. Would be great to have you all involved, and if anyone else is keen, please do complete the poll – more the merrier!

Hi @rammya-mathew and apologies I have been otherwise occupied and not contributed to this. I continue to be keen to support QI in primary care and in particular am v aware the pharmacy workforce which is an increasing resource has little QI engagement, so keen to support from both aspects
Hi Rammya, sorry for coming to this late – not sure if this is helpful to share but it’s based on a summary of QI work that we did in Scotland in general practice initially, but now being adapted for primary care dentistry and community pharmacy colleagues also interested. Happy to be involved and contribute further, many thanks, Paul

Hi All, I would like to be involved. I am in the north so zoom would be great. I’m starting a new job from April so will complete doodle poll after that, Gwyn
Dear Rammya, I’m very late to this thread – but wondering if the meet up was postponed due to Covid and if so, and still planned for the future, would like to express my interest in joining in! Carol
Thanks Carol. Yes indeed, this meeting never went ahead as the scheduled dates coincided with the beginning of the pandemic. I’m looking to try and resurrect this meeting and bring people together again.
