This group aims to link with members who are interested in developing human factors capability within the NHS. In the East Midlands, there is some work on this and we now have six human factors projects being delivered in partnership with NHS trusts. These are in response to patient safety issues that were identified by NHS staff, and are now being redesigned with human factors expertise. This group is keen to link with other regions also looking to support human factors implementation.
