I am a registered nurse with a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. I have been nursing for almost 30 years. I am passionate about nursing leadership and patient experience.  Having worked in acute medicine, cancer care and patient experience, I have accumulated array of knowledge and learning in each field.  I have been working with cancer patients since 2009 and this is where I want to make a real difference, which is what has given me the courage to move out of the acute trust, where my last role Lead Cancer Nurse into the cancer alliance.  This will give me the opportunity to have a wider influence across cancer. I am just starting a new role as the Lead Nurse for Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance.

I have been heavily involved in QI through my career, completing both a Fellowship with HEE and completing the Florence Nightingale Foundation Leadership Scholarship.
