The clinical administration teams at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals are invested in co-designing their future state. Changes are on the horizon and clinical administration is subject to significant changes over the next 2 years. The team are determined to work through the needed changes by being fully involved and creating solutions from the ground up. As with other healthcare changes, it is recognised that patient's needs are changing and the creation of Hubs (groupings of specialties) around a patient pathway is key to creating efficiency and safety in our administration systems.
The Rapid Improvement Event gave rise to lots of potential solutions and assistance is needed to ensure the continued involvement of key team stakeholders throughout the project.
