After nearly a decade working across the NHS, I have experience of operational and strategic settings at provider, regional and national level. I have undertaken operational roles in a number of sub-specialty areas including dental, cardiovascular, diabetes and endocrine, nutrition and dietetics. At a regional level I worked for the London Diabetes Clinical network leading on a range of activities such as the COVID-19 diabetes guidance, London Diabetes Inpatient Network, Patient Leadership Group, Outpatient transformation and assurance of the treatment and care long term plan priorities. I am passionate about sustainability and have recently moved to work for the national net zero and sustainable procurement team at NHS England and Improvement where I provide practical support to the NHS decarbonise the supply chain.
