I am a professor of Operations Management at the University of Leicester in the Business School.  My research involves applying the principles from quality management across sectors including Healthcare.  This broad foundation for quality improvement brings a prospective that enriches Healthcare QI.  Examples of work to deliver improvement in Healthcare include:

·         Supervising to submission a Ph.D. on A qualitative study of analogue and electronic escalation Visual Management Tools in maternity healthcare in England

·         Delivering a talk for Q fellows on visual management from UK and Ireland (77 participants 25.5.22)

·         I teach on the MSc Quality and Safety in Healthcare (Quality Improvement module) at the University Hospitals Leicester and University of Leicester for the past four years

·         Currently conducting a detailed survey research on the use of analogue and digital visual tools for quality improvement
