So, I finally have got round to posting about the systems thinking meet-up. Thank you for organising it – it was fascinating to hear different perspectives on it.
I reflected on a couple of things. Firstly, how important iterative approaches like QI methodology are to help navigate complexity. I imagine systems thinking practitioners would caution us not to lose sight of the whole while using our reductionist approaches. However, surely PDSA cycles, in particular, are the antidote? start anywhere, learn your way around the system…..
