I have worked in NHS Library and Knowledge services for almost 20 years in the North East of England.  My experience has been mainly around providing access to the most current, best evidence to inform healthcare practice.  I now work for Health Education England as a library and knowledge services development manager and I am currently in the process of setting up a Community of Practice (STEMClub) for those who support evidence-based decision-making at the system-level.  Our long term goal is to develop a culture in which healthcare policy and decision-making is routinely informed by high quality evidence .
