I am an experienced EDI practitioner, specialising in equality, diversity and inclusion in a health care setting. My background in quality improvement, operational and admin management enabled me to develop a large skill base and understanding of staff engagement, change management and cultural change. It was a natural progression for me as I have always had a passion for staff and patient engagement and believe in hearing directly from those who are experts by experience as either employees or service users.
I lead on developing strategies and interventions, using data driven decision making and ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements. I use coaching and mentoring skills to support and develop inclusion network leaders and provide expert advice and guidance for policies and processes. The project management skills I developed from my QI background have been extremely useful in managing multiple workstreams and working groups to deliver positive actions and responses to areas needing improvement.
I have been a member of the Q community since 2016 and I enjoy networking and making new connections, sharing good practice and learning from others.
I hold a level 6 CMI in Leadership and Management, a trained Mentor and ALS facilitator and hold a certificate in Professional Coaching.
Outside of work I enjoy hanging out in my newly converted camper van, listening to audio books, walking my sproodle called "molly", blogging and developing my instagram cooking site "dellies kitchen".
