I have been a midwife for 17 years and for the past 3 years my role has been Specialist Midwife for smoking cessation. Alongside this I am also a Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA). As a PMA we aim for a call of personal action for quality improvement through continuing education and development.
I am passionate about all public health topics and how we can best utilise our resources for maximum impact on patient care and safety.
I am currently undertaking a coaching for quality improvement course and on its completion aim to be an effective coach for teams or individuals. Enabling them to discover and achieve best practice
