In 2020, I completed a Health Foundation sponsored PhD in Implementation Science. My PhD drew on social science theory to explore the implementation of sepsis screening tools and the Sepsis Six. I am currently working as a Research Fellow in the Safer Systems, Cultures and Practices theme, Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration. I am a registered nurse with a background in Critical Care and Practice Development Nurse. I work once a month as a bank nurse on a palliative care unit.
