I have been giving some thought to what is it I want this group to achieve? I feel that our overall aim should be to see every acute care organisation (then primary care) employ at least one person trained in egronomics / human factors (by 2025?). Ideally that would be someone who had undertaken an approved degree or masters in EHF. In reality more likely a person who had undertaken PG Cert in EHF would be a start. The other aims would be to see organisations develop a EHF strategy setting out how they are going to build their EHF capacity and capability over the next few years and how they are going to embed EHF in procurement, role design /redesign, workforce and well being plans, incident investigations, IT design, design / redesign of the environment, team training to be part of mandatory training for all staff etc. How do we make this happen? #embeddingEHFintheNHS
