    Thanks Tom , this is an excellent diagram and thought promoting. Certainly a refresh of my understanding of QMSs and useful for auditing purposes. It will be useful for training people in healthcare quality management, although like Hilda I think I need to study the detail a bit more.
    Could I have permission share the document within Pathology circles please? Do you want to add a copyright statement to the document before I do, if you approve?

      I have authorisation from BSI to publish the diagram so I’m sure it will be ok for you to share it. Most of the text is taken directly from the standard. I don’t think that any copyright protection is required. If you get any feedback from the people that you share it with I’d love to see it. I could add some more detail to the diagram. On Monday I’ll be talking, if I get the chance, about what a management system should include.
