A query and an invite – Tegid, I and a few others are going to hold an ‘Improvement’ journal club spinning off from this SIG. Under the umbrella of improvement we can talk about practical things informing our practice under QI, Systems Thinking, psychology etc

1. Is there anyone else that would like to join us for an hour a month?

2. If so, would you prefer this in the evenings away from work hours or would you prefer to incorporate this into your working week?

I know we are all busy at the moment, but taking some time to share learning and reflections can buy us time in not starting from scratch and rework. You don’t have to contribute if its your first time attending.

We were thinking of discussing the journals that appear in the Q Cymru newsletter, so the next one would look at – Decision-maker roles in healthcare quality improvement projects: a scoping review

While we hope to take something away from the articles, we also encourage critique and whether the findings from all the journals we will discuss are practical and should inform what we do.
