Happy 2024 to All. HandsFirst2, the Royal College of Surgeons of England’s QI Collaborative focusing on improving lives and livelihoods through reducing time from injury to treatment is off to a grand start. We eagerly await the publication of the learning report from the first round of HandsFirst which saw improvements across all 3 BSSH standards measured as well as the introduction of new Children’s standards. HandsFirst2 is delighted to welcome Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation trust, our newest site who joined in December. What a way to ring in the new year – making positive change for population.
