Healthcare Improvement Scotland has been delivering a fresh, new approach to improving primary care access over the past year. The Primary Care Access Programme (PCAP) uses a mix of quality improvement (QI), sprint, and demand, capacity, activity, queue (DCAQ) methods.

We have now supported over 100 teams through the programme and have published an evaluation of the first 3 cohorts, including impact on access and participant feedback.
