Dear all!
We believe that quality improvement is for everyone.
We believe that inequalities harm health and well-being.
We believe that young people and ordinary clinicians can co-create solutions to these problems
We are WHAM (Wellbeing and Health Action Movement) and we are “Powering Up”! Our project – in collaboration with UCLH and Birmingham Children’s Hospital – aims to empower both clinicians and young people to better address health inequalities using the power of digital, improvement science, and coaching. We believe our approach will increase youth engagement in health, reduce waiting times for chronic care and help to skill up the health workforce on addressing social determinants of health in practice.
How can you help?
‘Powering Up’ has been shortlisted for this year’s Q Exchange funding!
We believe that collaboration leads to improvement. Please help us to make our proposal even better by adding your own comments now and your vote from May 23rd. In particular, given your own connections, please mobilise anyone you know in the Q community who you think could help.
Thank you 😉

A great project Ruddi that chimes with the theme of this week’s International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
Sounds like an idea whose time has finally come and gets my vote!
