Hi all. I am a consultant paediatrician and Head of QI in Oxford.

I was delighted that a project that I have supported through Hexitime has been shortlisted for the Q Exchange and I encourage you to vote for it over this week.

From my experience in the industry, healthcare tech is a preserve of white, male colleagues and I believe that this initiative will challenge that. We will reward allyship and enable women of colour to contribute as equals by providing you on Hexitime a “human library” of members of the Shuri Network on Hexitime.

We use an asset-based approach , which I think will resonate with you and other members of the group. It builds on the work that won us an HSJ Award in NHS Race Equality last year and has potential to transform in the way the co-production happens; giving equitable access to different minorities.
