The Health Foundation’s office is closed in line with government guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. The Q team is working remotely and adapting how we work to ensure we can collaborate and engage effectively with our partners and members.

We recognise that the COVID-19 outbreak is an exceptional event. We want to be as helpful as possible during the coming weeks and months so that our partners and members can focus on their vital work in health and care.

Supporting members

While some of our plans will change and re-focus, our in-house work will continue to support members, sharing the most relevant and useful information to those working to improve health and care for people in the UK, while being mindful of the immense pressure much of the sector will be under at this time.

Supporting grant holders

If you have received grant funding from us, we understand that you and your team members may have to prioritise other duties. We will be open and flexible to discussing project extensions, or adaptations. This may include:

• Adapting activities: We recognise that achieving some of the outputs or outcomes set out in your award agreement may be more difficult during this outbreak. Please get in touch with us if your activities will be affected and we will do our best to be as flexible as possible.
• Discussing dates: During a time where the health service is going to be under significant pressure, we understand that meeting reporting deadlines may be challenging. To alleviate some of this pressure, if you think you will struggle to meet an existing deadline, please get in touch so we can discuss, revise and agree a more realistic timeline for your award.
• Financial flexibility: We understand that you may need to move money between budget headings to ensure that your work can continue. Please keep us informed of any significant reallocation of your budget.
• Listening to you: We understand that this is a demanding and changing environment which everyone is still trying to navigate their way through. We are here if you want to talk to us about your situation.
