I have only been working in healthcare for just under 2 years, however, in this time I have become very aware of the issues that exist in healthcare, particularly as a result of the recent pandemic. On the other hand, I have been amazed at how quality improvement (QI) can have a massive impact on addressing these issues in an efficient and systematic way and the sustained improvements that using QI can have. I’m keen to learn as much as possible, at this stage I will be learning from others and hopefully I will be able to contribute more was my role and experience develops.
