I am a clinical scientist in medical physics, specialising in diagnostic and interventional X-ray imaging. I am qualified as a Medical Physics Expert  (MPE) and Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) to provide expert advice on radiation protection legislation (IRMER and IRR) and its application.

I am head of Imaging Physics at the RUH in Bath, which provides clinical services and scientific and technical advice to other departments within and outside the hospital. We work within an ISO9001-certified quality management system; I am interested in how this interfaces with the hospital-wide implementation of Improving Together and other QI tools and methods.
