Thanks to everyone who joined the discussion yesterday! We had a wide ranging conversation about whether person-centred care would have radical implications for healthcare and improvement, if it were made a central aim of health systems.

There were thoughtful contributions on a range of themes, including how concerns about what person-centredness might require can be overstated and unrealistic; how models of patient-centred care can be unhelpfully ‘choice’ focused; and how different aspects/framings of person-centredness differently impact on other healthcare values and aims.

We are looking forward to further discussions and would love to hear your ideas for future topics.
