Biography

A senior professional that has experience in successful organisational change and delivery of transformation in the NHS and commercial environment. A track record of excellence over 25 years delivering operational improvements and transformation, through improving effectiveness, performance and sustainability. Over 14 years experience in Operational Management in the NHS before supporting key national change initiatives, in a very large combined acute Trust in Wales, such as ESR and agenda for change. This was the start of my organisational change career.
Over the next 14 years i have been delivering change through programmes of work, development of PMO's in a number of NHS organisations,  and supporting the performance and delivery of projects. Spent time working in Network Rail on change projects, which gave me a significant insight into change management in a commercial environment, and a 'true' project management driven organisation.
I have always actively used improvement tools and techniques to engage teams, and achieve  change.  This combination of project/programme management and improvement methodologies have been a winning combination. This combination  allowing planning , control and reporting to embrace and engage with the 'how' to achieve the change' through  improvement techniques.
I am committed to delivering results through a people approach, individual skills development, sharing knowledge and insights, to ensure sustainable improvement.  Most recently, i am leading a Quality Improvement Support Team with the combined cost, quality and service improvement portfolio, bringing together the Cost and Quality approaches to achieve change.
