I am Head of Programmes - (leading for Stroke Prevention and respiratory) and Associate Director of the Connected Health Cities Programme - connecting data to improve health in alcohol, COPD and seizures).

I work with the NHS, local authorities, industry and academia to improve partnerships and introduce innovation at scale and pace. Specialising in strategic development and programme set-up and management and developing partnerships with industry. I have extensive experience in the area of programme development and management, research, evaluation, improvement and innovation. I have previously held senior operational management roles with major national research and improvement programmes including: the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research; the NIHR Collaboration for Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) for Greater Manchester; the National Institute for Innovation and Improvement and the NIHR Clinical Research Network.

I have worked with a range of organisations and clients to deliver outputs around specific programmes of work. Specific projects include programme management in complex environments which include organisational development - public sector transition work, training and development, culture change, partnerships, engagement and "call to action" transformational leadership. I am experienced in commissioning and leading, research, evaluation innovation and improvement initiatives.

Previous consultancy clients included NHS Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton Public Health Team, NHS Salford, the University of Liverpool, the Fire and Rescue Service, the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, Tricordant Ltd, Belvedere Consulting Ltd and Wendy Fisher Consulting Ltd.

I have also provided training in developing research, improvement and innovation in public sector organisations.
