I work with healthcare teams across the North West as part of the Advancing Quality (AQ) Programme within Aqua. The aim of the programme is to reduce unwarranted variation and improve the quality of care. This involves using specifically collected AQ and national data to identify opportunities for improvement, providing bespoke support for local quality improvement and consultancy projects, sharing learning and building improvement networks.

Prior to joining Aqua, I worked in the Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme at NICE, helping to develop guidance and advice to encourage the adoption of innovative technologies in the NHS. I have also worked on national NHS quality improvement collaboratives in a variety of settings, providing data analysis, knowledge management and improvement support, and spent many years conducting academic research in healthcare delivery, particularly in emergency and primary care.
