    Hi Hilda
Barbara would be happy to have the paper included. If they are of any use to you, I have a couple of slide decks at: https://bit.ly/3avnsn1 and https://bit.ly/3yDqA8F. These relate to mapping projects that include health organisations.

    Hi Hilda
I’d need to consult with my co-author but I don’t think she’ll object. My only hesitation is that the maps don’t use Kumu. They are based on the Graph Commons online mapping and analysis system which can also be fed by sumApp survey. In my view Graph Commons is better for strategic overview of the shape and structure of a network whereas…Read more

    Hi all
I thought some of you might be interested in paper on network mapping which covers several health issues and unemployment in Lambeth. This followed a process of issue definition by group storytelling by local organisations followed by mapping the organisations that address these issues and the design of a game to allow users to explore…Read more

    • Hi Drew

Thank you for sharing this. The Network Weavers Handbook (June Holley 2011) is being updated (with June’s permission) to be easier to navigate also to have some examples of work in the UK, this sounds like a great piece of work to share as an example of Network Mapping, would it be possible to include it?

      kind regards
      Hilda

    • Hi Drew thanks to Barbara also

For the handbook we shall give a 710 word overview and then provide a link to further information, would that work okay for you? Of course we would consult you both on the content of that. That’s great June is picking this up also and promoting what you are doing. I am still getting my own head round Kumu, I saw…Read more

      • Hi Hilda
Just thought you might be interested in a project we’re developing with the Children’s Parliament in Scotland to map the organisations that support children in various ways. This comes about because of the Scottish Parliament’s decision to adopt the UN Rights of the Child and to require public bodies to incorporate that in their work.…Read more

    • Really enjoyed this report and will forward it to a couple colleagues who are considering something similar with young people. I might want to loop back to you. I hope this post finds you well.

    • Hi Kirsten
Glad you liked it. We have now been further commissioned to expand the map to cover all employment and disability issues and actors in Lambeth. This part of a 3 year project and we’ll be extending the map and providing training in its use. We’ve had to transfer the map into Kumu because of a couple of glitches in Graph Commons. This has…Read more

    Hi Kristin and Jorian
I don’t use Miro, so I’m not really able to compare. I have used JamBoard and StormBoard so I am familiar with some whiteboard systems. The great advantage of Sticky Studio is that it collects *connections* from participants and then can export the resulting network to Kumu for visualisation and analysis. Sticky Studio exp…Read more

    Hi Maureen
Thanks for the thanks! I’m happy to try to answer any further questions you might have on Kumu or netmapping generally.

    Hi Joriam
I’ve used Sticky Studio a couple of times, and it works well. It’s best to have a Kumu map set up with a view to display it how you want to. You can run a first session in Sticky Studio, have a break to port the result to Kumu, and then show the same map in Kumu with the analytic features. I’m on Weavr, but haven’t used it for any…Read more

    • Please do let me know! I think Weavr can be a gamechanger, but I’m a bit afraid it might be an uphill battle initially. Wanted to check in with a real-life experience.

    • Drew – Any update and tips on building engagement with Weavr start-up?
