Donald Grosset is a consultant neurologist at the Institute of Neurological Sciences at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital specialising in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders.
His current research focuses on population studies in Parkinson’s and he is the Chief Investigator of Tracking Parkinson’s (the PRoBaND Study), a 9-year, £3.4m project funded by Parkinson’s UK. Tracking Parkinson’s is the largest ever prospective, multi-centre study of Parkinson’s disease and collects clinical data and biosamples from more than 2,500 patients at 70 sites across the UK.
Since 2017, Donald has been the Clinical Director for the UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network. He is also a member of the Movement Disorder Advisory Group with the Association of British Neurologists, a member of the Parkinson’s Clinical Studies Group within DeNDRoN and a contributor to the Parkinson’s Academy.
