Dany Bell (RGN, MSc) is Strategic Advisor for Treatment, medicines and genomics at Macmillan Cancer Support where she advises on cancer treatment and genomics, developing the charity's links with external organisations and clinical leaders in this area. Is a Registered General Nurse with 31 years’ experience in the NHS. During her career she has clinically managed a surgical oncology ward, hospice ward,  clinical lead nurse  in specialist palliative care and end of life. Has undertaken senior management roles in the NHS including lead cancer nurse and cancer manager as a joint role; and a head of operations role for an acute trust. Within her management roles has undertaken system wide service improvement to redesign pathways and improve experience and care; as well as implement new service reconfiguration in some cancer types.
