In preparation for the planning session this Thursday (register here), I’ve listed the Liberating Structures (LS) we’ve tried as a community over the last 1,5 years… *see image at the bottom of this post*
The LS on the orange post-its we’ve tried in the last 6 months, the LS on the yellow post-its we tried in the latter part of 2023 and the LS on the green post-its we tried in early 2023.
I’m curious – which LS would you particularly like to try out in the next 6 months? (check them all out here). I’d say that the LS on the green post-its we could try again this autumn/winter.
Looking forward to your comments. We’ll take your wishes in to consideration on Thursday. And if you’re up for (co-)facilitating one (or two) of these structures, come along on Thursday at 12-1pm (register here).

@mariadortheaskov LOVE that you are encouraging so pre-flection before the planning meeting on Thursday. Lyse and I will be offering an extended session on how to string Liberating Structures together to plan for a real-time meeting. We can use this research on what the community wants to incorporate those interests into the design. It is also most beneficial for people who have a few favorite Liberating Structures they use again and again (like me) and want expand their thinking and confidence in using the tools on a situation they are facilitating in Fall 2024 or Winter 2025. I could offer (with a buddy network patterning cards, open space, star diagram or min specs.
I will also check in with Melanie because I love drawing together, W3 and did “What I need from you” at the halfway point in a peer coaching network but could use a chance to try it again.
I am also happy to just offer a stringing structures together to address a “real- world” challenge or planning session with @lyseedwards So will come this morning and see what is needed. Happy Thursday.
