Hi all,
My colleagues at Innovation Unit recently opened applications for this year’s Innovation Unit Design Academy course. You might have colleagues who might benefit it so I thought I’d share details here…
The course is designed to provide professionals interested in social innovation and public service transformation with the tools and techniques needed to create more effective and efficient public services. There are two modules, which can be accessed separately or delivered as part of a comprehensive one year part time course:
Module 1: Applying service design methods to complex social challenges (September – January)
Module 2: Design leadership for systems change (January – June)The course is highly practical, and provides hands-on experience in service design and innovation. People have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with peers from different sectors, and learn from experienced service designers. It is a great way to grow service design skills in your organisation, so you can work in new ways, to make a positive impact for the communities you serve.
We are open for expressions of interest and will be processing applications until the 15th of June.
If you or your staff are interested in learning more about the course or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or one of my colleagues Ellen (ellen.simmons@innovationunit.org) or Ella (ella.walding@innovationunit.org)
Alternatively, you can find more information about the course and how to apply on the Innovation Unit UK’s website at www.iuda.org.uk.
Feel free to pass this on to your colleagues if you have anyone in mind…
Thank you!
Nick
Director of Mental Health Innovation (Innovation Unit)
Sounds great Nick, thanks for sharing!
