    Dear LLR Q Community,
Thank you all for taking the leap and joining this Special Interest Group. As you can see we are in the very early stages of developing our Q Community, but I am very optimistic that, together, we are going to create something great!

As a starter, please could I ask you all to upload a profile picture and include a brief overview of your role, experience or special interests so that other members can get to know a bit about who you are?

One of the ambitions for the LLR Q Community is to create a network of ‘improvers’; Improvement Agents (UHL); Change Champions (LPT) and anyone else who is contributing to our improvement movement so that we can share experiences; provide support and grow our capacity/capability for QI across LLR.

I am exploring options for us to improve our networking opportunities via virtual spaces such as Zoom/Skype etc so do watch this space….

In the meantime, please do share any work you are involved in, or pose any questions you have on this forum to get a conversation started. Also, please do share any improvement work on Twitter and use the hashtag #LLRQI to help get our movement off the ground!

    • Hi all. I’m a physiotherapist (and proud AHP!) who is passionate about QI.

I’m relatively new in post at LPT as Operational and Transformation Lead for Community Therapies, Home First And LDU’s.

Prior to this I was a Matron in the Community Hospitals, where I had the opportunity to undertake some really positive QI work with one ward in particular, and before that an operational lead in CINSS (where the QI focus was around improving waiting times, pathways and outcomes.

My role before was as Head of Physiotherapy in an Acute Trust so I’ve had recent experience from acute, intermediate care and community which is really helpful now in seeing the potential opportunities for improvement across our LLR system.

I was previously accredited in my last Trust as a QSIR Associate with NHSI ACT Academy and was part of a team ( alongside Fay!) delivering the NHSI training for our Trust in support of our Quality agenda and strategy.
